The short answer

WAVV publishes $99 per seat a month for Single Line and $149 for Multi Line, billed monthly, with unlimited minutes, spam protection on every account and $1 a month per phone number. It runs embedded in your CRM and says it is not a predictive dialer. EmberDial runs power and predictive campaigns and includes local numbers, number reputation, live transcripts and call summaries in every license. At WAVV’s Multi Line monthly price, the two meet at about 2,500 connected minutes per agent a month.

WAVV

$99

per seat a month on Single Line, billed monthly, with unlimited minutes. Multi Line is $149; quarterly billing takes 15% off and annual billing 30%.

Where WAVV may fit better

  • Your team works in HighLevel or HubSpot and wants the dialer inside the CRM, with calls, dispositions and recordings logged to each contact.
  • Each rep dials one line at a time: Single Line at $99 per seat with unlimited minutes costs less than an EmberDial license plus minutes at any talk time.
  • Each agent talks more than about 2,500 connected minutes a month, where Multi Line’s flat seat price costs less.
  • You want voicemail drop and two-way texting today, and a 7-day free trial you can start yourself.

EmberDial

$99 + 2¢/min

Per concurrent calling license a month, plus each connected minute. Billed monthly.

Where EmberDial may fit better

  • You want predictive campaigns for aged leads, with pacing that slows above a 2.5% abandon rate and drops to one line above 3%, per campaign.
  • Agents talk less than about 2,500 connected minutes a month, or share licenses across shifts.
  • You want 10 local numbers per license included, each with a Healthy, Watch or Flagged status.
  • You want live transcripts during the call, DNC.com screening and state attempt caps, and built-in team chat.

10 US local numbers per license, pooled across your agency ($1 a month for each extra). Local caller ID picks from your own pool by area code, then state, then region. Branded caller ID shows your business name on the lead’s screen, 10¢ per branded call, on carriers that display it.

Add-on

One free phone number listed with the plans, then $1 per number a month, billed through the WAVV Wallet. Local presence numbers show a familiar area code, and Smart Rotation (beta) can buy numbers in new area codes as you call them.

Number reputationIncluded

Each number has a daily call allowance, lower while a new number warms up, and shows Healthy, Watch or Flagged. A flagged number rests automatically, out of rotation, and calls move to your healthy numbers.

Included

Spam protection is included for every account: number registration, monitoring for spam flags and remediation, with a Number Health report. Smart Rotation (beta) rests at-risk numbers, usually after 50 calls a day. WAVV says remediation time depends on the carriers.

Switching from WAVV: what to test first

  1. Run a real calling block.Dial a sample list in power mode, then in predictive mode, and count the live conversations each agent reaches in an hour.
  2. Check the caller ID each lead sees.Confirm the local number chosen for leads in your main states, and open one number’s Healthy, Watch or Flagged status.
  3. Review a finished call.Find its transcript and summary, and with Agent Assist & coaching its graded review, and check that a manager can coach from them.
  4. Move a sample of leads.Export a sample from WAVV or your CRM as CSV, import it with field mapping, and check callbacks, dispositions and notes before moving everything. To connect your CRM instead, name it during onboarding.
  5. Set your compliance rules.Set calling windows and DNC screening for the states you call, and agree who keeps consent records.
  6. Time your voicemails.Voicemail drop is coming soon. Until it ships, measure how long agents spend leaving voicemails in a normal session before you switch.

EmberDial vs WAVV: questions

How much does WAVV cost?

WAVV’s plans page lists Single Line at $99 and Multi Line at $149 per seat a month billed monthly, with 15% off quarterly, 30% off annually and up to 15% off by seat count. Phone numbers are $1 a month each. EmberDial is $99 per concurrent calling license a month plus $0.02 per connected minute, with 10 local numbers per license; see pricing.

Is WAVV a predictive dialer?

No. WAVV’s power dialer page says it is not predictive; its Multi Line plan dials up to three lines per seat and connects the rep when someone answers. EmberDial campaigns run in power or predictive mode, with pacing that slows above a 2.5% abandon rate and drops to one line above 3%, per campaign over a rolling 30 days.

Is WAVV cheaper than EmberDial?

It depends on lines and talk time. Single Line at $99 per seat with unlimited minutes costs less than an EmberDial license plus minutes at any talk time. At Multi Line’s $149 monthly price, EmberDial costs less below about 2,500 connected minutes per agent a month and WAVV costs less above that. EmberDial licenses are concurrent, so agents on different shifts can share one. Numbers change the totals; the cost check includes them.

Does WAVV work with HighLevel?

Yes. WAVV’s HighLevel page says the dialer lives inside GoHighLevel and is turned on there without code, and WAVV also runs inside HubSpot. EmberDial connects your CRM on request during onboarding, such as HighLevel, imports leads by CSV with field mapping, and accepts leads your vendors post straight into a campaign. A HighLevel marketplace app is coming soon.

Does WAVV have a free trial?

Yes. WAVV’s plans page offers a 7-day free trial on any plan. EmberDial offers trials by request: our team checks each request by hand, then sets up a short trial with a set amount of calling credit.
