Dialer comparison
EmberDial vs CallTools: a quoted call center suite or a published price
CallTools is a cloud call center with predictive, power, preview, progressive and parallel dialers, a built-in CRM and a long list of integrations, priced by quote. EmberDial publishes a per-license price with power and predictive campaigns, number reputation and call review. Here is how they compare, with a cost check you can fill in from your CallTools quote.
The short answer

Switching from CallTools: what to test first
- Run a real calling block.Dial a sample list in power mode, then in predictive mode, and count the live conversations each agent reaches in an hour.
- Check the caller ID each lead sees.Confirm the local number chosen for leads in your main states, and open one number’s Healthy, Watch or Flagged status.
- Review a finished call.Find its transcript and summary, and with Agent Assist & coaching its graded review, and check that a manager can coach from them.
- Move a sample of leads.Export a sample from CallTools or your CRM as CSV, import it with field mapping, and check callbacks, dispositions and notes before moving everything. To connect your CRM instead, name it during onboarding.
- Set your compliance rules.Set calling windows and DNC screening for the states you call, and agree who keeps consent records.
- Time your voicemails.Voicemail drop is coming soon. Until it ships, measure how long agents spend leaving voicemails in a normal session before you switch.
