The short answer

BatchDialer publishes three plans per agent, from $119 a month billed monthly ($95 billed annually), with unlimited calling, 3 to 5 predictive lines, included numbers, reputation monitoring, DNC and litigator scrubbing and in-app property data; call transcripts and summaries start on Pro. EmberDial includes local numbers, number reputation, live transcripts and call summaries in every license. Against Starter billed monthly, the two meet at about 1,000 connected minutes per agent a month; against Pro, about 4,500.

BatchDialer

$119

per agent a month on Starter, billed monthly, with unlimited inbound and outbound calling. $95 billed annually.

Where BatchDialer may fit better

  • You prospect property owners and want property details, equity and distress data on the lead’s card while you talk.
  • You build lists in PropStream or BatchLeads, or want motivated-seller lead lists from the dialer, from $49 a month.
  • Each agent talks more than about 1,000 connected minutes a month on Starter, where BatchDialer’s unlimited calling costs less.
  • You want voicemail drop, a built-in CRM and native HubSpot, Podio or Zoho sync today.
  • You want to try it yourself first with a 7-day free trial.

EmberDial

$99 + 2¢/min

Per concurrent calling license a month, plus each connected minute. Billed monthly.

Where EmberDial may fit better

  • Agents share licenses across shifts, or talk less than the break-even minutes each month.
  • You want live transcripts and call summaries on every license, not only on Pro and Enterprise.
  • You want predictive campaigns that slow down above a 2.5% abandon rate and drop to one line above 3%, per campaign; the BatchDialer pages we checked list a fixed number of lines and an abandonment timeout.
  • You want state attempt caps and DNC.com screening with your own account alongside your internal DNC list.

Number reputationIncluded

Each number has a daily call allowance, lower while a new number warms up, and shows Healthy, Watch or Flagged. A flagged number rests automatically, out of rotation, and calls move to your healthy numbers.

Included

Every plan monitors its numbers daily across 10+ reputation databases and shows each one as clean or flagged, with free business verification to remediate flags. Automatic replacement of flagged numbers is on Pro and Enterprise and must be turned on.

Switching from BatchDialer: what to test first

  1. Run a real calling block.Dial a sample list in power mode, then in predictive mode, and count the live conversations each agent reaches in an hour.
  2. Check the caller ID each lead sees.Confirm the local number chosen for leads in your main states, and open one number’s Healthy, Watch or Flagged status.
  3. Review a finished call.Find its transcript and summary, and with Agent Assist & coaching its graded review, and check that a manager can coach from them.
  4. Move a sample of leads.Export a sample from BatchDialer or your CRM as CSV, import it with field mapping, and check callbacks, dispositions and notes before moving everything. To connect your CRM instead, name it during onboarding.
  5. Set your compliance rules.Set calling windows and DNC screening for the states you call, and agree who keeps consent records.
  6. Time your voicemails.Voicemail drop is coming soon. Until it ships, measure how long agents spend leaving voicemails in a normal session before you switch.
